At 10 years old and 7 pounds, instead of enjoying her golden years with her family, Maya found herself in a very overcrowded shelter in South Jersey on borrowed time. Maya is calm and friendly to everyone she meets. She doesn't really play with toys, instead just wanting someone to lay next to and relax with. Due to her age and small size, she will not be placed with young children for her own safety and sanity.
