Bluey is an 8 month old, 20 lb,  Blue Merle Mini Australian Shepherd. He was found as a stray and taken to the shelter. It was later determined that the finder was actually the owner.  
While Bluey was very timid in the shelter since coming with us he has proven to be a happy and very friendly. 

In his foster home we have found him to be house and crate trained. Bluey is a great leash walker who actually pulls out his leash from the basket when he is looking to go out. He is very well behaved but like all puppies can get into things. So puppy proofing is very important. 

We are looking for a home with herding dog experience and a fenced back yard. Bluey is very intelligent and energetic. Bluey is good with other dogs and a dog to match his energy would be great but is not necessary.
