Summer was surrendered to a Local NJ shelter when her owner lost his home. She struggled terribly the first several days and kept her tail firmly tucked in between her legs. The shelter staff and volunteers gained her trust and the next time we visited she had really come out of her shell. Summer is a petite girl at only 33 pounds and she really just wants a lap to sit on. We believe her to be about 5. Summer is gentle and walks nicely on leash. She will be a great addition to any family and passed all her temperament tests at the shelter with ease!!
