Peanut was found as a stray and brought to the shelter. Peanut is estimated to be a little over a year and 23 pounds  We can’t imagine how he became homeless as he is such a sweet and nice little puppy who loves to play fetch and is always happy.

In his foster home Peanut is learning many commands, some leash-walking skills and enjoys his foster dog siblings. Peanut seems to be great with children although still a bit jumpy so we recommend him living only with children above 6 years old. 
Peanut would do great with another dog to play with. A fenced in yard is a must for Peanut. He is a beagle and with that comes his beagle bay so apartment living is NOT appropriate for him. He would do best in a home with people not out for long hours. Peanut is active and attends doggy day care on a regular basis so an active family is the best fit for him!!
