Will you please snuggle me!  Gracie is a 5-year-old female Pekingese with an abundance of love and affection in her heart. She was sadly surrendered from the only home she ever knew. After her dad’s passing, her elderly mom just couldn’t keep up with 3 little dogs.   Gracie is an easy-going girl who is good with small dogs and cats.  Although she does not have any experience with children, we expect that she would enjoy the company of older considerate kids. Gracie is a bit shy at first but warms up quickly to people and then the love fest is on.  She is easy on leash and appreciates her walks…and she needs them!  Gracie is trying to lose a few pounds.  She likes to play with her toys and is good at entertaining herself.  If you think Gracie is the missing piece in your home, fill out an application at njshpetrescue.org to be considered.
