Tesha is a sweet 6 month old pit/hound mix who came to us with two broken jaws. This little one was attacked by another dog and denied veterinary care for a month. She was taken to animal control by the AC officer. After exhausting all rescue possibilities and unable to get a good prognosis they determined euthanasia was the most humane thing to do. We were the last call they made and we felt that economics should not determine her fate. We brought her here to NJ and brought her to a specialist who has done two successful surgeries to her jaw. We feel that she is finally able to go home. Tesha’s prognosis is great although she may always be a little crooked. 
Tesha is the sweetest pup - she loves all people and other dogs. A perfect home for her would be one with another playful dog and a family with dog experience. She is just learning many of her skills like leash walking and basic commands. Tesha is happy, playful and just loves to kiss everyone she meets.
