Maxi and her three littermates (Milo, Gypsy, Otis) were born in Louisiana to a family with a husky who was not spayed when she had gotten together with an unneutered Golden retriever in the neighborhood.  The family contacted Avoyelles Animal Welfare, a no-kill shelter, who then contacted NJSH Pet Rescue to see if we could take the puppies into our rescue. They will arrive on Oct 3rd and be placed in a loving foster home. You must live within 60 minutes of Chester NJ and you must submit an application on njshpetrescue.org to be considered for one of these puppies.
