A couple brought Alexis to Tunica Humane Society in January.  Tunica offered to pay for her medical care for her severely infected eye which had been heavily hand stitched shut and in fact the vet appointment was made. Sadly the couple chose to dump Alexis rather than drive to the vet office. Tunica received a call several days later that a dog fitting Alexis's description had been picked up as a stray.  Tunica rescued Alexis, vetted her and placed in foster. Alexis is good with dogs, cats and children.  She is a gentle soul and ready to find a loving home of her own. This sweet girl is 4 years old and about 55 pounds. The perfect age and size!!!
